A reference in the Languedoc vineyard
Located in the heart of Languedoc, between Narbonne and Carcassonne, Fontarèche is one of the oldest wine estates and a reference in the Corbières appellation. The Fontarèche vineyard extends over more than 130 hectares perfectly distributed around the Château and our winemaking cellar.
9 generations
In 1682, Château Fontarèche and its estate became the property of Pierre Mignard, portrait painter of Louis XIV. The Lamy family, descendants of the Mignard family, are the current owners of the estate and rely on a passionate and dynamic team led by the director Vincent Dubernet.
Our grape varieties and our wines
In Fontarèche, no fewer than 17 different grape varieties flourish, allowing the production of a rich range of Languedoc wines.
A mosaic of aromas, flavors and colors, the wines of Fontarèche express the character of our terroir and all the passion of the men and women who contribute to making our Château a reference.
