Winemaking

Carignan, Grenache and Piquepoul Noir are placed in carbonic maceration for around 10 days at 32°C.
The Syrah and Mourvèdre are crushed and destemmed before undergoing traditional maceration in vats for 14 to 18 days at 28°C.
The elements of this blend are then aged in 1-wine oak barrels for 9 months for 70% of the volumes, and in stainless steel vats for the remaining 30%.

Tasting

The color of this great red wine is a dark ruby.
The nose develops mixed aromas of black fruits and spices; the woody fragrances are fresh, lightly roasted.
The attack is frank and ample, followed by a tasty, dense and delicate mouth. We feel a nice tension and a beautiful volume. The concentration remains moderate and allows to keep a gourmet wine: the aromas of black fruits are dressed with delicate toasted notes; the tannins are fine and delicately structure the mouth. The finish is long, on a pleasant freshness, opening this wine to pleasant gastronomic marriages.
