One of the oldest estates in Languedoc

Our story

Built in the 14th century, a few steps from the Canal du Midi, the Château de Fontarèche was initially the property of the archbishops of Narbonne before being acquired by Pierre Mignard, portrait painter to Louis XIV, in 1682.

The vineyard and woods of Fontarèche form a perfect square around the Château and the Chai, legacies of a heritage proudly preserved over the centuries.
