Syrah, Piquepoul Noir, Carignan

Our wines are sold in cases of 6 bottles.

Description

A wine with notes of liquorice and black fruits, conceived and designed as a tribute to the emblematic grape varieties of Languedoc, Syrah and Piquepoul Noir, elegantly complemented by the presence of Carignan.

AOP Corbières
Alcohol: 14% vol.

Vintage: 2022

Winemaking

Piquepoul Noir and Carignan are vinified in whole bunches, with an intense fermentation of 8 days at 32°C in the foot of the vat. Syrah is vinified traditionally after careful crushing and destemming.
All parts of the pressing are then assembled for the end of fermentation in the liquid phase.
After a few months of rest, the wine is aged directly in bottles.

Tasting

The blend presents a beautiful and mysterious dark, almost black color.
The nose reveals a beautiful palette of black and red fruits.
The mouth, fresh and long, reveals powerful and elegant tannins, which give the wine a beautiful density and interesting aging potential.
Many surprises to come from this wine which speaks of our Languedoc origins.
